Good point Studdermonkey...  Hear me out though.
They're in one place till the spec.opfor gets there

After a half hour of play or so, it's going to be getting dark I'd imagine.  Color of cammo?  If it moves ... interrogate it?

When we go out to the location, you'll know who is in the group of five (may change some) to be rescued.

Group of five at a fixed location that can't be moved until the rescue team arrives...  If you're on the Syran team and get to the helicopter *before* the spec ops, mow them down without mercy (sorry guys, -until they holler "HIT!!!")  If you're spec.ops and get to the helicopter before taking fire, find five dudes happy to see you, you know these guys are OK dudes.  (Just don't shoot Bullseye in the back, he HATES that!!!)

It's going to be dusk in Arizona here for the event.  Cammo will become less & less decernable, which is a unique element here.  The fact we can use this as a safe place to play, and the handfull of folks helped set this up deserve some credit.

Studdermonkey-  Really hope you can come out, and bring friends with you.  I mean it.  I've been to this place, and can say it'll be a great time, & a worthwhile trip down here.  The person who kicked this off is more than a decent guy in my book, it's a great private area, and a new challenge given the time of day.  Serious, we'd love to see a big group here

It's almost pitch black on the ground by around 6:00, as I look around now it'll be hard to see anything not silhouetted against the sky. Sounds like a fun game, though, put me down for tan (special forces).

Will you guys have at least some illumination at the field? From a safety standpoint there neeeds to be at least marginal illumination from car headlights or lanterns. At Sandstorm during the third op, I tripped over a shrub and did a face plant, a stretcher bearer in the second op ran into a wire and flipped over, and earlier Jeremiah stepped in a hole and hurt his ankle. I also think someone fell and broke their gun, though I'm not sure. Had we not had lanterns and headlights on the field it would have probably been a lot worse. It wasn't anyone's fault, it was part of the risks of having a night game. But we mitigated the risk with at least dim illumination.
A better tactical advantage is not worth people getting hurt.

i'm assuming there will be glowsticks and likely some floodlights off far enough to provide low light.

but ya, you'd be damned how much some glowsticks sprawled around the field would do.

We're using what'll be leftover from Innoculation.

I'm currently working to get some scene lighting in place, one of the TAC fellows has a couple of 3000-watt scene lights.

If worse comes to worse I can rent a light tower, but it'd be coming directly out of my pocket.

Is this the field that requires full face mask?

The field did not. The field is satisfied with TAC safety rules, as such any games we hold out there are held to TAC safety rules as a minimum.

TAC Rules state for CQB engagements (which is what the game on the 9th of this month (October) was...) 400fps limit, full-auto allowed, full face mask for all participants.

The game on the 6th of November, however, will have no facemask requirements for anyone 18+ (as is noted in the original post...). TAC rules still state that 14-16year olds have to wear a full facemask, and 16-18year olds can wear a partial that must cover the nose and mouth areas.

Poopboy and I will try to make this one, most likely on Syrian team. But its not a definite yet, so don't put us down QUITE yet, because I need to get my work squared away.

By the way, WHERE ARE THE PICS FOR OP INNOCULATION II? Nobody seems to know, and I'm retarded. (Or too lazy to look hard enough.)

ALSO: Anyone interested in warm-up games? We could probably get a few CQB battles in before 6pm, if we show up early.
