That's someone screwing with you.  It hasn't even made it past the Senate, much less the House.  GWB has publicly said he'd sign a clean AWB if it came to his desk, but the chances of it getting there are slim, and the chances of it getting to his desk "clean" are pretty much zero.

I think its all lip service from him right now.Wait 'til it gets down to the sunset deadline...money talks and BS walks.I think he wants to remain prez for 4 more years,he will avoid anything that will ruin that.

Thanks guys for helping to keep me sane.  I searched the internet but could find no mention of it either.  I sent my friend an E-mail and asked him to send me the link where he read this.  No reply yet, big suprise.

Yeah if he signs that thing, I'm not voting for him. Don't know if I could ever vote for Kerry though either. . .

I was out at lunch today and a friend of mine said that Bush resigned the AWB.  Was this person just screwing with me or did Bush really extend it?
