I love http://www.flashbunny.org

I just got into the AWB debate at dinner with my god-mother. Although she admits that the current laws aren't effective, she also admits that she is one of those who wants all guns banned and that is why she supports the awb; anything like it is a step in the right direction to her.

I just checked out this site, http://www.azgs.org/index.html

Their numbers are full of crap! I have seen real firearms realted crimes statistics for AZ and these are not it. They post all kinds of Oh these are the bad people stuff, (i.e. NRA) but then say, "Yes they (the NRA) has a black list of their "Enemies".  Well Duh stupid, You just did the same thing!!!! How hypocritical.

I find this stuff both interesting and scary.

I find it interesting that they failed to mention that all of the stats and info given are with the current AWB in place.  They also failed to mention the percentage of "banned" weapons used to commit crimes that were obtained illegally.

I find it scary as this kind of propaganda actually works to either convinve or reinforce people of this gun-crazy possible future if the AWB were lifted.

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Like Larry the Cable Guy said.
"Blaming guns for shooting people is like blaming your pencil for spelling mistakes."

I think it's kind of funny that they also have a countdown to the end of the ban on their site.

It is said that on the eve of battle, Dienekes was told that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun.  \"Good,\" Dienekes laughed, \"then we\'ll have our battle in the shade.\"
