Its an airgun.  An Air Arms Pro Target FT.  I think the bottom cylinder is the air tank and the one above that is the barrel.

I'm with Raith on this one.

What on earth is that guy doing, though? Honest, he blew a ton of money on that thing. I like airguns, but if you're going to try hard enough to install a sun shade, etc., get something bigger. Like a .308![}:)] It does look like a nice setup, though.

The length of the sunshade displays how good the sniper is.  The longer the sunshade, the better the sniper is.

This is a well known fact.

Well DUH! Everybody knows that! Heck, whenever I do a littlt sniping for Mega Force, I don't even USE a scope, just an 18 inch sun shade mounted in place of a scope.

Airguns are popular for their competition value, as well as for hunting small game in places like the UK, where firearms ownership is very restricted.

Length isn't everything Raith, it's where you place your shot that counts...

Ninja, point well taken. I forget sometimes how fortunate we are (for the time being).

Farslayer, right on. [:)]

Want a cheap mirage shield (which is part of what a sushade does)? Put a few targets over your barrel. The BR guys do it and it works just fine. I can't afford a sunshade, but if I could mine wouldn't be that long. Regardless of that fact, I ring steel all day at 300 yards at Rio Salado. I like to watch that turkey swing way out there. [:D]
