i got the exact gun. UGH i hate WE guns soooo much. I got it "free" from dust and has ended up costing me over 90 bucks(30 for a mag and the rest on 5! yes! 5 broken, what you call its pisons?) Not only that, the screws stripped the gun so now the frame wont hold together! The metal is crap and i had to sand down the frame for the slide catch to actually catch!

I hate the thing and i will post the pic of it tomorrow(oh and 10 rounds before the gas is empty? and its a 30rounder? whats up with that).

sorry, this is my WE tech rant.

Me and my friend fixed that by shaving the slide down because they are way too heavy to push, now we get full clips before gassing again.

ive shaved and polished my slide. Ive been working on gas guns for quite a while and usually i can fix it, but these WE techs are crap. Granted mine is about what 2 or 3 years old i think? but i sure does blow. Wait till you try a western arms, TM or a KWA and your mind will change too

TM and KWA arnt in the 300 catagory(cant say that about the WA) but i can tell you first hand experiance that even though some of them are plastic, they shoot amazing. Id never go back to WA or KJW(cept the m9 that i still own after 5 years or so) Back then. when i was younger, it was about full metal this, full metal that, its heavy. Now I can appreciate the higher quality stuff.

My advice is to save up for something worth it and not something flashy

I know what you mean about the plastic ones ha ha some really do shoot great, by the way here is another trick that i used to save alot of weight, use a drill press or drill, or like I did and turn this down on a lathe this is an old pic of before I turned mine down so you should be able to see pretty well how to do it...

That may be good for weight reduction(or not since its only alittle) but i cant see it doing anything for gas consumption(sinces thats from the resistance of the slide, and the magazine and all that jazz)

But regardless, my WE tech is just to throw at people as a last resort

I use propane too thats probably why...I also use a homemade bottle warmer so the gasses are expanded when I put em in my gun.

Honestly I have no idea what you guys are complaining about. A properly maintained WE Tech Hi- Capa will be able to shoot the entire magazine on one gas charge, however, the charge is much longer then the standard GGB mag, be sure to fill it up all the way. As to anyone who says try something else.... I own 3 KWA's (2xG23, 1xM9) 1 KJW (Ruger) and my WE- Tech, I have owned many more then this, but thats what I have now. In an actual game, I use my KWA's, they are smoother, and much easier to work on and clean, however, my Hi-capa gives we about an equal performance to both my KWA's. It works fine, and, while I can say I have never used any other 1911 except a KWA/Ksc, I like the full metal better then any abs TM. I have spent many hours untold working on these things, and if you are having a problem, just drop me a line.

My Hi cappa was working fine before and could shoot a full clip no problems on propane, but it just made it better by making it lighter. Thats all I'm saying.

well mine works like shit. So i will never buy another one. Pot metal, low gas consumption, parts breaking are not what i want in a gun
