It usually takes a month to 6 weeks Joey.  Your finger prints have to go to the FBI so they can do a background check on you.  Once that's done and the FBI clears you they'll send your paper work back to Phoenix who will then issue your permit.

Thanks harley, the gun club told me it would only take 2 weeks.

Gixser, just walk away buddy.  I gave that reply because I asked a simple question, and got another older man expressing his fealings that obviously show that he would be more comfortable if he had the permit, but I didnt (he being you).  The govt says 21 yrs of age, I meet that requirement.  This is the first coment on the AA board that made me feal like Im not old enough or smart enough to be a part of AA, the kind of thing done to the 14 year olds who get ont eh boards and curse at people.  Lets just drop it, allright.

Very funny. Just remember, when you are in Gilbert, and swing by a McDonalds, I'm the guy making your food, your frys, and maybe your drink. Keep that in mind, Mr. Farslayer. [:P]

I mailed out the forms and payment on the 2nd, which means they got it on the 3rd, and I still dont have my permit.  How long did it take for you guys to get yours?
