Title: SRC SR4 problems
Post by: rclementew on October 26, 2005, 09:13:30 PM
I recently had a systema m120 spring and some systema gears put in my SR4 and it is making a much louder and obnoxious noise when i shoot.  When I hear it I think it could simply be that the new gears are louder but something just doesnt sound right.

One thing I think it could be is the motor gear has worn a little and that could be causing the noise.  It could also be the motor plate isnt adjusted right.

It is also occasionally locking up.  I can feel that the motor is getting power, the motor just doesnt turn the gears.

I dont even know if i have a problem, it might just be the fact that i have newer and supposedly louder gears.  Can anybody think of why my gun would make such a drastically different sound while firing (especially during semiauto mode)  Thx.
