Troubleshooting / G&P M203 install
« on: April 25, 2005, 01:43:05 PM »
Hey i just got the G&P M203 long launcher for the TM M4. The question is...how the hell does it fit together. First things first i DO have a M733 outer barrell kit for the gun, in which case the metal loop that screws to the front of the launcher wont fit around my barrell, and secondly, the "notches" at the back of the launcher where they are supposed to "fit" where the old lower hand gaurd went doesnt even come close....so, what do i do?

Then even when i get that set  up where the hizzle does the battery fit?

As continuing with the inner barrel story, i want to get a tightbore inner barrel for my M4, what particular brand would you folks suggest? I read the thread, couldnt find any names mentioned. Also is it even worth it? or more trouble than its worth? As in, i wont have to alter any hop up units or anythign will i?

Ok, well what im guessing is probably going with the systema high speed motor is the best...im not sure what spring i have in the ICS MP5, but its chronoed at like....maybe 285, so im guessing its not a spring higher than M100....i tried to look online, but couldnt find the exact specs of the spring

Well to help mellow down this very informative, but aggresive post...I do have an MP5SD5, so i have a solid Stock, with a large battery....and i probably wont be doing any upgrades, since i have bad luck as it is with stock AEG's...so thats why i was looking for the motor with a higher R.O.F.  with that in mind..please continue

Awsome, thanks for the money saving info. I might go with the EG1000...thats a higher cyclic rate or fire if im understanding you correctly? Is the Systema Genuine Motor the "original" you were refering to?

I have an ICS MP5A4...it souded horrible when firing, but it turns out all i had to do was turn the alan wrench to position the motor teeth better. So then it fired fine....until i ripped one of the connectors off the motor, its soddered...but unreliable, i want to buy a new motor, my question...should i stick with the Turbo 2000? Or should i go with a systema Mp5 motor? if so...which kind?

AEG's / M4 battery question
« on: November 07, 2003, 02:55:24 AM »
Hey all, i was just curious, whats the biggest battery you can go with for the TM M4A1 without have to do internal modifications? And if you can fit bigger batteries, wil any fit down the barrel where the original one goes?

Also i saw a sweet pic of an A3 commando i think it was, with the solid full stock, is that a tough mod to do? is it possible on an M4?

AEG's / M4A1 scope options
« on: September 23, 2003, 02:58:48 PM »
Hey all, i was looking to add a scope to my TM M4A1, i know theres a weaver mounting rail underneath the caryying handle, but i want to mount it on the carry handle...ive seen the weaver rail i need to purchase to be able to mount a scope, but the question remains...what scopes do you guys like? i wasnt looking to spend a boatload of money on this, so far my choice is the JTXA003: 30mm red dot scope off jungle toy...anyone use this inthe past?
Anywho, any feedback would be awsome...thanks

Hey everyone, im gradually getting more and more addicted to airsoft, anywhew, theres nothing worse than having all this gear, but nowhere to play...does anyone in Tucson know of any spots to play(outside of the city limits)? And also, what do you have to do in order to have skirmishes, without worrying about getting busted for playing? Has anyone ever had any bad incidents with the cops?
Thanks...
