For what it's worth, I am selling my Consew 106 knock-off (from Neel's Saddlery on eBay). Has a variable speed motor, walking foot, table, + I am including all the buckles, webbing, cabinets and cutting table.  $1,000 cash, you pick it up in North Glendale.

The machine alone was $900.

Ganef knows me and knows I wouldn't blow smoke.

It's Matt Johnson Khaki.

It's not Coyote Brown, which is darker, like chocolate.

It's not tan, and certainly not Ranger Green.

I've placed 2 orders with them so far and the customer service is top notch. They E-mail you an order
confirmation, order status and the tracking numbers. They usually ship the same day as you place the
order and don't charge huge shipping charges. They have a great selection of brands and their prices
seem to be right on track as well.

Yup...Jon and Kat are good people, and if I weren't in the business, I'd buy from them.

Davidsons went through $800,000 worth of rifles, dealer cost, the day of, and night of, the presidential election.
My magazine distributor went through 4,000 mags in one night.
Mag-Pul is two months behind on dealer orders for PMags.

You do the match...Econ 101...supply and demand.

Further on Arizona:

*  Do not bring into any place that serves alcohol for on-site consumption, AT ALL, even if it's a restaurant.
*  Regardless of what the law says, court decisions have pretty much made it that the whole weapon needs to be visible, not just a portion of the holster.
*  If you are carrying in a business and someone from the business asks you to put it in the car or leave, you must do so, even if it's not posted.  Do not become indignant, but that doesn't mean you cannot ask to speak to the manager, calmly and politely, to ask if this is corporate policy.  Then, follow up with the corporate office to verify this.  Get the manager's name.  Sometimes, local managers take it upon themselves to 'ban' firearms when company policy may not permit that.  See Wal-Mart as an example.
* Discharge of a firearm w/o justification is a violation of state law if done within city limits.  Note that the city of Peoria extends ALL the way up to Lake Pleasant.  That whole desert area is off-limits to shooting and can get you in a heap of trouble.

* California:  Technically, open carry of an UNLOADED firearm is legal.  Magazines can not be loaded, even if not in the firearm, if they are on your person.  Carry of a loaded firearm without a permit, is a crime.

* Nevada:  Open carry technically legal, but you will get hassled on The Strip, and Boulder and North Las Vegas gun laws are more restrictive than the rest of the state because they were "grandfathered" when the state preemption law went into effect.

If you are a gun owner in Arizona, you really REALLY need to pick up a copy of Korwin's book.  He's at all the Crossroads gun shows, and will even autograph one for free.  Or get it directly from him at www.gunlaws.com

The F4 series is the UHF radio that is, generally, in the GMRS and FRS frequency range, however there are UHF low (403-430mhz) and UHF high (430-470-ish), however it's unusual for a "civilian" to have UHF low since there are few, if any, frequencies to legally transmit on.  FRS, GMRS and ham radio's 70cm band are in the UHF high range

The F3 series is VHF (130-ish to 175-ish), and the ham radio 2m band and MURS (public radios service) are in this range.

Another major advantage over the FRS radios is you can program them to receive any frequencies even the FRS "codes" which are actually just tone and squelch codes.  So someone might think they are being clever and using a difference code and you'll still hear every word.  ;)

You can do that with any FRS radio by setting the PL "Privacy Code" to zero.  All the privacy code does is prevent you from hearing other people who might be on the same channel.  WIth the PL tone set to "0", it doesn't filter out the other signals.

I've shot some rifle and 3-gun matches, and don't recall any stage where I needed more than two mags for a CQB type of stage where a fast reload like that can't be accomplished with an open-top mag pouch.

Ameetec was purchased by another company.  The guys who used to run it, no longer do.

One of my ARs is

Cavalry Arms Lower
Sabre Defense Midlength upper
Daniel Defense 9.0 Rail
Ergo Grip handgrip
Magpul CTR buttstock
Smith Enterprises Vortex FH
DPMS lower parts kit

All my other ARs are of similar "frankenness", except my Colt, which is all colt, including the old-skool carbine buttstock.
