dealers raising their damn prices:my rant for the night
« on: November 09, 2008, 03:44:51 AM »
Was considering ordering a 6920 today (and putting myself further into debt) but then i noticed, either their out of stock or the price has been raised, by as much as 300$....

Then i got over myself and said, ok, LMT it is...and what do you know, same with lmt

I mean, come on, Obama will not even be sworn in for close to 3 months, and the prices jump come election night, this is bullshit. I'm not paying 1500 for a colt 6920 when not TWO DAYS ago i could of paid 1200.

damn you Obama

Hope you enjoyed my little rant for the evening, I'm bored, pissed, and tired.

Jesse.

I would venture to say it happens every presidential election.

Everything is going up in price, and going out of stock, because everyone is in full panic mode.  Buy it now while you still can.

Or, in the words of someone on another forum I frequent, regarding AK mags: "Buy 'em cheap, stack 'em deep."

Every day I have to wade through mountains of stupid posts on forums by kids who feel it necessary to share their personal life on the internet like they think we care.

Go to www.arizonashooting.com and look in the classifieds. There is a 6920 for $1275 right now.

aparently he raised his price to 1350... I could get it new for 1350, I'll just wait for tanners to restock and hopefully the price will stay steady at 1200 which he said he hopes not to raise it

Davidsons went through $800,000 worth of rifles, dealer cost, the day of, and night of, the presidential election.
My magazine distributor went through 4,000 mags in one night.
Mag-Pul is two months behind on dealer orders for PMags.

You do the match...Econ 101...supply and demand.
