Where are you planning on holding it?  I would love a weekend of pure airsoft.  Also just to make sure will you let me play if i'm under 18?

We will be holding it at Sasco, barring any unforseen events.  We could have a scientist and have an extraction scenario.  [:)]

It would be nice to have a parental guardian there or at least written approval.  Other than that, no problems.  [:)]

My shoulder is getting better!!! Although it only has been 2 weeks and the doctor said I'll need 6 - 8 weeks to heal, but I think he's full of dog doo doo and doesn't know what da dog doo doo he's talking about. (did I mention that he was "showing" me how to take my pain killers? 6 differ times continuiously over and over again!)

Doctor Dog Doo Doo: Hello son, how are you doing? how are you feeling?

Me: I'm feeling better

Doctor Dog Doo Doo: Well, today, I'm going to show you how to take your medicine.

Me: But Doc, I'm 22....

Doctor Dog Doo Doo: You put 2 in your hand and pop them in your month like this! *pop!* you got that? looks like I need to show it to you again just incase you didn't catch it the first time.
Just remember not to take more than 2 at once like this! *having 5 in his hand.....pop!*

Oops! Anyway, I'll see if I can make it out there this game.

BTW, I'm only 22 (under 25) will I need my parental guardian or a written approval too?

SASCO (southern arizona smelter company) is about 90 miles south east of you guys. Head south on I-10, like you're heading to Tucson. Pass Picacho peak. Get off on the Red Rock exit and head west for about 8 miles. You will pass a feed lot on your right, go over some old RR tracks, through two washes (don't be afraid) and find it on your right at the base of a big hill. Here is a map to Red Rock.

http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main ... &x=53&y=17 (http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&1n=Maricopa&ct=NA&1y=US&1a=&1p=&1c=Phoenix&1s=AZ&1z=&2ex=1&2y=US&2a=&2p=&2ac=%252bGnqu82BU%252fzrT%252bM27WOh3T6gXgTm7Vm25U2wMj1AR5%252bTH8vN1c%252fdeg%253d%253d&lr=2&x=53&y=17)

Just letting you know it is a little farther than "35 minutes" from Skyharbor!  [:P]

Oh yeah.... one time there was this van....this van tried to cross the first wash.  Well,  it kind of got stuck down stream a little ways and was there for like a week.  But don't be afraid.....unless it rains Saturday.[^]

I've been keeping an eye on the weather.  So far it's been evry light in the area.  I don't think we will have any issues.  If the wash is flooded, we may just do an open field game instead.  [:)]

Sasco is 8 miles west of Red Rock.  We are also looking tonight to see if there are any routes around the wash area.  I'll keep you informed and should have something soon.

Ok.  We've been looking at maps of the area and we have some possible detour routes to get around to Sasco.  If the washes are flooded, we will have a car waiting to gather everyone up at the Red Rock bar/gas station.  My car will be a silver station wagon.  Hope to see you there.  [:)]

Title:
Post by: Farslayer on February 09, 2003, 09:46:27 PM
We were there from just before 8 til 1230 (all 14 of us).  The washes were running low in the morning, diverged to irrigate the fields we think.  Anyway, that damn cow gave us attitude too. [}:)]  HayHay, you need to keep following SASCO road for another half mile or so past the old hotel to get to the main turnoff that leads to where we do most of our skirmishes.  It's a bummer you went so late, we start earlier than most.  Hope your dad wasn't pissed.[V]  It was a great game, that's fo' sho'!

We will be having a skirmish on the 9th of Feb.  I know AA has one on the 8th, but we have some friends in town who would like to play.  Anyone who would like to show up is openly invited.  I will once again talk to the Sherrif's department and make sure all is arranged.  [B)]
