Sounds like a great time to learn!
I will have to get in on the next one in the future.  I think that if you would like to include Medic training I have a friend who was a medic in the Army and could teach that as well!
Just a thought?

Arizona Weekend Event - ASOC March 28 - 30th
« Reply #32 on: February 03, 2003, 08:36:45 PM »
A team of 11 staff members have been meeting and will continue to meet every other week planning the structure for a National Airsoft Course.

THE GOAL:
The goal of this course is to promote honor, teamwork, and leadership using real mission scenarios in a military simulated environment.

THE SPONSORS:
Since this event is only for Arizona, Game On will be our sponsor, and our thanks go out them. However, for the September event we will advertise nationally for this event. FPS Magazine has offered to sponsor us for the national event in September, as well as the Q Project, Game On, and Airsoft Extreme.

THE MISSION:
We will have rolling missions, using airborne resupply, land navigation through hostile environments, and under fire problem-solving missions.

THE TRAINING:
We are offering three courses for your team members to go through. Mark Anderson (Stonewolf) has over 15 years teaching search and rescue, survival, and leadership to military personnel. He will be taking the leaders through a course designed to prepare you for command and control of your team, navigation, communications, and honor.

Our Sniper course will be instructed by Jack Frost (MadJack) a qualified Sniper instructor in the SAS. Jack will be showing you techniques in stalking, observation, and camouflage.

We will also provide a ranger course. Developed by Kevin Widner (KenCasper) and Robert Alford (Rhino) Kevin and Robert, well versed in U.S. and British combat tactics will offer courses that will develop teamwork and powerful tactics which will help you to accomplish your missions.

WEBSITE:
Our website is complete and we have uploaded the ASOC Handbook. Go to http://usairsoft.org/asoc to find out more about this event and register.

VIDEO:
We will have two combat photographers who will shoot video and stills for the event. This footage will not only be for you but will also be used to develop advertising for the next event so look your best.

EXTRAS: We are working on being able to produce dog tags, ID cards, and T-shirts for the event. But this of course depends on our budget.

BONUS:
As a BONUS: Those who attend this event will only have to pay 50.00 in September. It will rise to 120.00 or so to cover the overhead.

FUTURE PLANS:
We are using the profits from these events to purchase land and develop a CQB course and two Vietnam firebases on 40 acres. Those who attend this event will have access to the field.  So please help support our local airsoft community.

One Team... One way...
