Ok, slight topic change for those who are going.

I'm the one you can all thank for pushing and pushing for this game to be in Prescott, so I figure we should decide on location so I can set up a meeting spot for everyone.  On top of this, the game will still begin at the same time.  Meet at 600 and pull out at 645.  This means you all will need to plan accordingly for the longer drive.  Ive done it many times, it's not bad at all, so don't get your panties, and blouse, all in a bunch over the early wake up call.

Unless there is objections to not using the usual AA AO, I'd like to try out a place right by my house.  I have never been to the AA AO along with many others, and I can give great directions to this site (which is a good site), which may help out for anyone who is late due to the drive (dont be late though).

Directions to AO:  Upon entering Prescott Proper (through Prescott Valley), just before the Court House (the square) turn left on Mt. Vernon (also known as the Old Senator Highway).  Roughly 4 miles up, past Goldwater lake, you will come to Marapai Rd.  Turn right (note: Marapai does have an immidiate right turn, just as you turn onto it, dont take it).  Your first real right turn is Adeline Rd.  (lots of mail boxes on your left).  Turn right on Adeline.  Turn left on Elk trail.  At the end of Elk Trail you will come to a split off to the left, a right turn, or a drive way straight up.  The driveway is mine.  The game site is about a half mile when you make the right turn.  So once you turn onto elk trail, go up till you hit my driveway (1096 is the address) then turn right.  At this point, go only a small distance till you pass the only house on your left, and pull over, this is where we will meet.

Be sure to buy all neccesary water and food before heading up the mountain.

I have never seen the area near your house, but I do know the AA game area pretty well. It is very large. Lots of hills, valleys, big trees, huge boulders. It is a great area for large groups.

To do a game safely and legally we need to be either on someones private property that we know, or in an area out side of city limits that is at least a mile from houseing and such. Or a state park area. Just be sure that you are not going to get us into trouble with this "Game area" near your house.

Are you going to be here for the game Frank?  I would hope so.

Well, let me lay it out to you like this, then you can tell me what you think, I do value your opinion, and don't want to get anyone in trouble, including myself.  It IS on national forest.  I know national forest allows for most all outdoor activities.  There is a road that creates a sort of half circle in a scense.  The diameter of this circle would be around a mile.  The entire area would be enclosed within this half circle, allmost a complete circle.  On the other side of the circle, there are no houses until you hit the main road.  Its a completely empty peice of national forest, with no houses in it.  The nearest houses are probably mine and my neighbor's.  The area is complete with hills, pine trees, large rocks and large rock formations.

Frank, let me know what you think about this, and if you are coming to the game.

If this doesn't sound good to you all, then we can change it up to the AA AO.  I don't know where it is though.  We could just meet somewhere in town such as the circle k on Gurley street, just when you enter town.  It has a small parking lot area like the Conaco.

If we get enough people I will go.

If it is for sure national forest there we should be okay. It is always best to use the guide lines, that if you would not legally be able to shoot a real gun there, then you should not be doing Airsoft there either. Just a rule I like to follow, keeps us out of trouble.

If Boondock and Kopper are going then I definitly am. Have not got to game with the two of them in over a month I think.

Well, a little before 4.  Thats for BT though.  Depending on where you live in phoenix, it will vary.  Id say a good 1.5 hours from the i17 and the 101.  This gives you 45 minutes of leeway if you shoot for 600 arrival.

I went and checked out the area for the game again.  Its beyond perfect.  The directions I provided to my house will be where the official game will be held.  Im thinking we should do a sort of base capture game that lasts a while.  There is a rock metropolis, that will be the fortified terrorist base, and an adequate distance away there is a smaller rock formation, with a trail next to it, this will be the other teams base.  Im thinking we will mark trees next to each base, off to the side a little ways, which will be respawns.  Then, the objective for each team, will be to capture the other teams base, which will require killing everyone in the base, and having at least two (or three) people occupying it.  This way, the fight will be on many fronts.  I have a few other things that may make it better, but we will work all of this out when we get there.  I just wanted to let you all know kind of what we are doing.

Id pack a water bottle, or even bring a bag.  The game site is about a 5 minute walk or so off the road, and going back to the car wont be rocommended.  Well have a spot to set stuff down.

Where did you buy it and how was it shipped.  If it came in to LA customs, youre screwed.  Ive been waiting a long time for my rifle.  16 days or so.  Mostly it will be a full 30 days before I get it.  I might get it before this game, I hope I do.

Youll get your gun before the game.  Uncompany seems pretty good.  UPS is definately the way to go.
