To answer your questions: It was as Mil-sim as any Airsoft game, it was very fun, it was not supported by a guard unit (The vehicles belonged to one of the teams that participated).  I'm sure many of the AZ people that went to RO would go to a second one, I know I would [:)]

Hey people of the vally,
I was checking out event's past... and saw your pic's from the Riverside game... Man that looks like a ton of fun, does anyone have any info on that game, and if your planning on going back.
Was it mil-sim, fun, supported by a guard unit (the deuce 1/2's, and Hmmwv), any other specs, looks cool guys.
