The "cannon" itself is a simple build, just a large bore spud gun, however the Howitzer style wheel base would be a trick to find, not to mention pricey.
The firing mechanism on the spud gun is the tricky bit. If I felt confident I could do it without mis-wiring something and killing myself, I'd give it a shot.

I have done a few "spud guns" before fairly simple through and through IMO, I "could" build the cannon itself but the only thing that makes this one special is the howy base. anyone have a set of those laying around?  ;D

Im going to doubt anyone has finished 3 yet. I got my copy last night at midnight and got only about 20mins of gameplay in. and the servers have been down for 80% of today.

I have not seen any "real" reviews of it yet, but for the 20 mins I played it was fun. still getting used to it though, Diablo 3 is the first "action RPG" I have ever played. I feel like it would be loads of fun with some friends.

also, after to looking into it, I have heard people playing it for over 20 Hours (in the UK, geuss they got it sooner) and being nowhere near done. so im not sure what your definition of "short" is but over 20 hours of gameplay seems like a lot to me. also most of the game world is random generated so there is a higher replayabilty.

I'm only 14 :(. Could I go if I have a parent sign a waiver?

Quote from: DarrK
16-17, only if parent and or guardian are at the field for the duration of the game (they need not play). (Tentative based on property owner approval)

If 16-17 MUST have parent present on site, why would you think at 14 you can use just a waiver. as far as I can tell from the given guidlines 16 years of age is the minimum, and that includes having parent/guardian on site.

so, who here is getting Diablo 3?

Don't get excited. I my opinion it only sounds fair for  some one that served  in the military get a discount.

agreed 100% men and women who have served our country should get a discount to have some fun. jus' sayin'

I can kind of understand why we keep getting posts like this up, since these people would be putting quite a bit of their money and time into making it a reality and they want to make sure there is actually an interest before doing so.  That said, it would be nice to see a few more of these proposals with a little more groundwork done beforehand.

If that was the case I would understand and welcome these threads, but if you look at whose posting them. Its people who have no "REAL" intensions or any "REAL" means of making these things a reality. The ones who keep posting these are underage, and have no real understanding of how the real, business world works.

I would love to see a thread like this from a person who has put in a lot of work in before hand. has permits already taken care of. real expeirence, and is just bounce locals ideas of the thread. but thats not the case. everyone here would like more stores and retailers. but lets not get peoples hopes up becuase you were just "curious" about how mant people would want one....

my $0.02 take it or leave it.

no one here would mind another airsoft store in the area. but asking people over and over again is simply redundant.

70
sounds like its going to be a fun night. I wouldn't mind playing a few hands of poker either  ;D

71
yeah we used the armbands last night, but like carbon said they were kind of useless. there was plenty of friendly fire. glow sticks might help. but I'm not sure how much.

Tracers and flashlights help a ton, for tracking you BBs on some of the darker fields. looking forward to next week to do it again.

I have a very destracting case of wiplash. so it seems that I will be chairsofting again this week... Have fun everyone. and enjoy playing outside and away from the sun. I will be there next weekend for sure.
