The "cannon" itself is a simple build, just a large bore spud gun, however the Howitzer style wheel base would be a trick to find, not to mention pricey.

The firing mechanism on the spud gun is the tricky bit. If I felt confident I could do it without mis-wiring something and killing myself, I'd give it a shot.

I have done a few "spud guns" before fairly simple through and through IMO, I "could" build the cannon itself but the only thing that makes this one special is the howy base. anyone have a set of those laying around?  ;D

I could build one with rockets but im not sure how many people would enjoy being hit with one..... or possibly being burnt by falling embers.

May use a similar idea but in a MILAN, Javelin or TOW system. I know a certain 11H that would like some trigger time with one.

It's only easy it you're willing to blow the entire gas reservoir on every shot.

Well just use a compressor air tank, you only need 80psi with a 2.5 gallon container to launcher the big rockets.
