Not a bad deal.  The mags are more prone to leakage, but with the proper care, should be OK.

I love my KJW M9 (metal)!  I used to have a USP, but it was being a pain in the ass so I ditched it.  But I just got a bad apple.

I picked up the KJW USP (actually from the Airsoft Atlanta store front a few days ago).  I have already sold mine, but it was a great gun when i had it.  The one I had didnt have adjustable hop up, and it was set pretty high, so you had to use .25s in it. It did shoot very well w/ them. Not the most accurate gun, but it was very reliable for the time I had with it. It only holds 15 rounds in the mag which was a downside for me. It has a functioning decock (although it releases a big enough puff of gas to pop the BB out of the barrel a few feet), full metal barrel, its field strippable, and has a reputation for reliablity. What kind of gas efficiency have you gotten with it?  Do you think that it would be a useful sidearm to use in a skirmish? Also, are there any other low cost GBBs that you recommend? Thanks for the info thus far.

Sarge is right, KJW m9's are very nice.  I own one but the full ABS version and its reliable and the price is great. paid 100 bucks for it brand new from Ron at Emerald wasp.  You cant go wrong with a m9.

Do you think the KJW USP's performance is as good as the M9's?

I tend to like the M9 a little better. And they can be had MUCH cheaper than $100. I have had 3 i believe. I picked up the last one for $48 on ebay. They are up for auction on there w/ no reserve quite frequently.  Just gotta look around. Rick

In answer to a few of your questions, the M9 has good gas efficiency, good range, great reliability, great price, and is one of the most skirmish worthy Pistols out there (IMO, at least).

I've owned the KJW USP, and would take the M9 (ABS or metal) any day for reliability and function.  Get some extra mags, keep the resoviors sealed with silicon, keep them about half full of green gas at all times, and have a blast!  I have been using a KJW M9 since I have been playing airsoft.  Even before I got an AEG.  Metal is the way to go for the extra 20 bucks, but make sure to NOT get the ghey grey-colored ELITE version.  It's ugly.  And it's grey.

your making a good choice by buying a KJW M9.  You can pick one up from Ron for 100 bucks and a extra 10 dollars to replace the platic outer barrel with a metal threaded one like mine.

Low cost, decent performing GBB

Recently, I was about to purchase a KSC 18C from a friend of mine. I met him today, and fired it a few times. It really amazed me, but it was well worn, and failed to blowback a couple times (this was probably due to the fact that he hadnt used them in awhile so they werent very lubricated). However, I dont think that I am going to buy one because of their wear, paintjob, etc. I was looking into getting a NBB but shooting a GBB has definatly swayed my mind into buying one. After firing the 18C I started looking around for a good deal and stumbled upon this...  http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/gas.htm
(fourth item down, KJW USP). I was just wondering what you guys thought about this pistol, and if you thought it would fit my needs. Here is a list of what I am looking for in a sidearm, in order of greatest to least...
1) Reliability
2) Accuracy
3) Gas usage
4) GBB [:P]
Just let me know what you think, and thanks in advance for your help.
