International Air Steels Program (IASP) is shooting any CO2 or gas powered multi-shot air-pistol/rifle or airsoft pistol/rifle that is similar in design to any “real steel” semi automatic rifle, pistol or revolver. It is a totally inclusive sport with shooters of all ages (8 – adult) and abilities competing together. Safety is a priority so those new to the sport will be required to have a safe gun handling course. It is very necessary to understand all safety, range commands, rules, body position, grip & hold.
IASP is very easy to understand. There are five metal plates “down range” all plates are painted white but one plate is known as the “Stop” plate. The shooter is required to start in low ready position, unless they are in the adult/senior open division the pistol holstered on the hip (drop leg holsters, shoulder holsters etc are not allowed) the shooters hands must be in the “surrender” position at the start of each run.
On the audible start signal the shooters engages each of the ‘bang target’ plates (one shot on each plate) in any order but the stop plate must be hit last. The last shot will stop the timer and the total time for that run will be called. There are five runs at each “stage” the worst time can be discarded. The other four runs are added together. The competitor with the fastest overall time for the match wins, simple!

General Airsoft Discussion / Here is a quote from Brad Holt
« on: May 31, 2014, 08:00:22 PM »

Brad's bio: http://tactrainers.com/methods.php
"In each of these years I continue to win or finish near the top of most local matches and I enjoy the competition very much. At this point I have shot over 1.3 million BB's in practice. Without airsoft it would have been too expensive to get to this level. I think airsoft is the best way to practice for competition, self defense or just to maintain your skills.

General Airsoft Discussion / Airsoft Indoor field????
« on: April 01, 2014, 07:27:23 PM »
I have a question would you like to see a new airsoft indoor field in the Phx Metro area? This would be placed in Central Valley.
Sound off?
If you do would you be will to help find donations/donors to make this happen?
With proshop, airsoft/airgun tec, rifle and pistol courses. Steel target, 3 gun, tac training, airgun/ airsoft 10 meter and 25yd shooting lanes to shoot on and site in your guns with a classroom/meeting room. Once a year would run an airgun/airsoft expo and shoot.

We are certified NRA/USA Shooting/CMP shooting Rifle and Pistol coaches and Certified Range Safety Officers instructors. Our group has X Army Inf & LE that are looking to do this project.
Even a Indoor Archery Range 5 to 8 lanes 10yd, 45 ft, 20yd and 25yd Indoor.

Our group run a 501 c 3 Non Profit shooting Club looking for help and input. We are looking for members every member we get will help make this project happen. We are looking for new board members for the different shooting Divisions that would help run this project.

Say everyone we are going to host the 3rd AZ Airgun/Airsoft Expo (swap meet) and shoot.
The shoot Sat will be International Air Steels Program (IASP) on Saturday 10am until last shooters is done.
Intro shoot Sunday airgun/airsoft International air 3 gun (IA3G).
Every paid match entry will get into expo for free. Tables 8' will be $15 each before Nov 1 and $25 ea. This would be a good time to sell your equipment you do not need anymore. Retail, new, used buy, sell and trade. We do have a classroom for those who would like to share your knowledge with others (50min slots).
This would be a great place to promote your shooting club or team.
We are looking to host this in Tempe or Phx (it will be in a central area).
We will have some shooting lanes open for airgun and airsoft you may want to try out.
We are looking at having 25 sells or club/team tables.

Anyone want to help set his up and or have suggestions?

Here is our web site http://shootrightaz.org/14.html we will be posting info through the year and and we will be listing any event donations for raffles and door prizes.

Airguns and airsoft offer an excellent alternative to firearms, and as a tool to maintain proficiency with firearm skills. They also assist the shooter with an easier transition into firearms, as many of today’s products are excellent mimics to firearms. As well, it is easier to correct shooting mistakes when teaching techniques using these choices.

International Air Steels Program (IASP) is shooting any CO2 or gas powered multi-shot air-pistol/rifle or airsoft pistol/rifle that is similar in design to any “real steel” semi automatic rifle, pistol or revolver.
