So you just bought a awesome CA SCAR and you think that you're too cool for school, but I have a newsflash for you Walter Cronkite... you aren't. Here is how to take your gun apart so you can put that hardcore spring in it and a tightbore (or whatever else you want to take the gun apart for)
First off you need the essentials. Red Bull, a flat head and the Allen keys they gave you with the gun
After you have your tools you want to take out the three screws located in these spots.

After those are taken care of the stock should slide out like so.
Then take out the front pin on the receiver.
You can see how the upper slides off the lower receiver. With the hop up and barrel can be take out at this point.
Now to get to the mbox. Take the screws out of the grip, leave the middle one alone ( that is for adjusting the motor).
You can see the motor inside the grip now, so take off the connectors.(note position of the motor).
Then take out the two screws to take off the grip. You can slide it up and off when finished.
Now you take out the two pins.
The trick to taking the Mbox out is taking the flat head and prying the receiver over so you can move the selector pointing straight up. Then do it to the other side until you can eventually get it out.
Then you have your standard Version 2 Mechbox ( except for the ambidextrous switch).
When putting the box back in make sure to move the tappet plate all the way to the right (in automode) and leave the switch still pointing up. When you finally get the box in there you can pry the sides out and move the selector switches back to auto. Then putting the gun back together is the same thing in reverse.
That was not that bad was it ?
