I've seen it twice, and it was out-freaking-standing.  One of my favorite movies, actually.

I thought it kicked ass as well.  As long as Micheal Bay stays away from historical events (aka Pearl Harbor although I love Kate Beckingsale (sic)) I'm fine with blowing stuff up and having a good time.  Megan Fox was hot and the aussie chick wasn't bad.  Shia LeBeuof and whatever his name is was pretty funny too.  I would have like to seen more robot fight scenes however.

Just my two cents,
John

Pretty cool, but if I remember correctly, they had a Bushnell holosight on an M-79, and backwards, no less.

Finally saw the hadji copy...

it was pretty great. Only thing that could make it better is good quality, and an awesome sound system, and a beer or 3...dozen.

Sounds like a consensus for the positive, though as they say 'everyone's a critic.' Certainly sparked a lively exchange. One might pose the question, "Don't you guys have a life?'
Will have to go see it when I get back to civilization.

I did enjoy it as well, mainly for the action. The only criticism I had was that they spent too much time dealing with the humans, I left feeling like the Autobots's voice actors could've used a heavier script.

Saguaro Airsoft Team

The quietest move is the most efficient one.

I still want to know how much GM paid them for it....

I thought it was a very enjoyable movie though.  I would see it again.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I thought some of you might be as excited about this as I was:

Warner Brothers decided to un-cancel the score (not the soundtrack, but the actual orchestral score).  Official release date is Oct 9th.  $12.99 preorder from Amazon.
