That event is about 1 1/2 miles from my house. I could probably stand on my roof and see the place from here :P. It would be almost a shame to waist this opertunity seeing how most of the time they are hosted a great distance from where i live. I will be looking into it..if i can get a few friends to go with.

Sounds like fun.  I have a question though, the site says that it starts October 30, 2004 10:00 and ends October 31, 2004 11:00.  But is that AM or PM?  I assume it starts Saturday morning and ends Sunday night.  Is that correct?

Quick update for anyone who isn't watching the main website too closely these days... We dropped the prices a bit after managing to negotiate a bit more with the venue and generator rental companies.  So now admission is $10 cheaper... $20 online, $25 at the door.  =)  Hope that helps make the cost a bit more reasonable for all!

Upcoming Lan Party
« Reply #4 on: October 06, 2004, 05:04:04 PM »
I was gonna put this in the PC Game Forum but whatver.  I dunno how many hardcore gamers there are on the forums but there is a Lan Party coming up in the Phoenix Area.  This is not just a get together of a group of people, there are sponsors(companies donating things as prizes for the tournaments), 70+ seating, and its two days long(Halloween weekend, Oct 30th-31st).  As for games, pretty much anything goes, BF1942/Vietnam, CS, FarCry, UT2004, DoD will, etc.  For more info on the event and to register for it ($30 pre-register, $35 at door) the website is http://www.lan-central.com/
