Have you seen the movie Luther?

The question is have you seen the movie Luther, and what did you think about it? Many people do not know about this important time in history, and the spiritual freedom that comes from it!!!!

That is one of the best movies I have seen!
It was historically accurate and just beautiful! :D

Considering there's been more religious threads in the general catagory than there have been threads in the real firearms forum, maybe it's time for an off-topic->religion catagory.

At anyway I just watched it last night!!! I wish I could have seen it in theaters when it was out so I could see peoples reactions who may have not been Lutheran or even non belivers. Interesting responce when people when in to see the Passion of the Christ.

I'll tell you want happened! People sat in the theater and cried or just sat there and thought. It was a very thought provoking movie. But then again, some left as soon as it was over. :lol:

This has to be one of the best religion based movies I think I've ever seen.....except for maybe Boondock Saints.................then again that may not fall into the religion catagory....but seriously, this has to be one of the most beautiful movies I have seen in a long time, and they had good actors as well.  Unfortunately I don't know Martin Luther's history as well as I should so I can't claim how historically correct it is.  If you have a night to spare and money to blow save yourself some money and rent Luther instead of going to a theatre....I personally am going to add this to my DVD collection.

It actualy is the best one for accuracy belive it or not.  For bolth that time period, and history of the church. There have been several movies in the past, for church history, and several movies called Luther, this one now has been agreed even by the Catholic church for accuracy. As well as historians.
