Paco's Ghillie Suit
« on: April 11, 2002, 02:14:47 AM »
Well, here are a couple pics of the Ghillie Suit I made.  It took approximately 30 hours to make it.  It covers down to my thighs, has a hood, and sleeves.  It's made from jute strands and netting.  The base color is tan (2 pounds of tan jute) with 1 pound of OD green, 1 pound of gray, and 1 pound of brown mixed in.  The flash made the bottom part of the ghillie appear much lighter than it actually is.  The second pic of the hood is a good representation of the actual color.  I tried to make it so that I could use it in the desert areas we play in, but also use it in the forrest.  It would be much more suited to the forrest areas though because of the coloring.
