Ok, so I went in to install a Systema M130 today in my M15a4. Obviously have metal bushings.
Now, the thing is, after tossing it in and making sure everything was good, I plugged in my new 9.6V 3300mah battery.... And the piston came back almost all the way and locked up. Every time I pull the trigger, the piston just kinda budges about 1/16th of an inch and then goes back to where it was. Opened it back up and double checked on everything, and still i get the same.
Any ideas of whats going on? Is an M130 to much for a stock CA gearbox?

You need either torque-up gears or a 10.8V pack.
I'd suggest both.

Anyways, thanks. if only I had done this a week ago I could have an M120 by the game this weekend.

Just checking. I've had a couple instances where it wasn't the spring that was the problem, but a near dead battery. :)

classic army guns can hold a m120 easily but i heard of it handeling a m130 for a term of 3 months during normal use. was the shimming done right? have you checked the tamiya connectors they have been know to be bad (i suggest going to all dean plungs on your guns).
