Getting back into Airsoft
« on: June 10, 2014, 01:28:34 PM »
I've been an airsofter since I was about 12 years old when I got my silly little 100fps P90 from Kapowwe. Ever since then I've worked my way into new gear and upgraded weapons, but a few years ago a large move to Texas kind of killed my opportunity to continue the sport. I moved to AZ and now I'm all geared up. It's been too long and I've been seriously itching to get back into airsoft, but now I'm not in my native lands of Washington!! I know nobody here even after two years. I live in Paradise Valley in Phoenix and I'd love to do a few local games before I throw money at the nearby arenas.

I've got what I feel is a good gear set but my guns are a little unorthodox and I'm currently saving for a Marushin sidearm I've had my eyes on...my primary is an Echo1 AR57 (the lovechild of a P90 and an AR15) and an Umarex P99 springer. I run tan/coyote/ATACS gear and blue jeans because I need my only pair of tan cargos for work.

Any local players with a spot they usually go I could come and introduce myself to? I'd love to accustom myself to airsofting in temperatures above sixty degrees. ;)

Welcome to Az. Not very many non arena games going on now due to the heat. Check the rsvp section and if there are any games you'll find info there.

Well Bandit like the other guy said Welcome to AZ and the "Dry Heat" vs the "Humidity" of Texas.

With Summer on the upswing, I'm not sure how many games are really going to be out there. I know I've been sort of looking but with my weekends being the way they are right now, the summer hours at places like Fightertown are out (although I might look into the Wed night games). As Ruberup pointed out, just look in the games listing section on this forum and see what people are up to.
