WE Hi-Capa feed issues
« on: December 25, 2005, 05:55:48 PM »
Ok, so here's the problem...

I load the mag, insert it, pull back the slide, pull the trigger, it fires fine, cycles fine (except it seems to spray a little gas, but that's a whole different issue).  Then, with every following shot, it still cycles fine, but doesn't actually fire the BB.  They're not jamming inside or anything, it just stops feeding.

Any ideas?  I'm not the most technically inclined person around here, so if you need more info, please ask, and if you have a fix (aside from taking it to JT to get it fixed) please make it easy to understand. ;)

edit: Also, I assume I'm supposed to be using Green Gas, correct? (it has the metal slide and all that)  I'm just wondering because with about 4 seconds worth of gas, it gets about 6-8 shots before it either runs out, or sprays the rest of the gas in a nice cloud. (I think there may be a bad o-ring somewhere)

Sounds like the piston is either sticking, or not aligning properly. If you can, bring it by the Tempe JT and I'll fix it for you. It's hard to tell what exactly is wrong without seeing it.

Where's the tempe location?  I may be able to get my brother to run me out there... As much as I don't want to.
