When I was first beggining airsoft. I had to experiment with my ICS M4, so I put .12 in it. It shot for maybe 5 minutes than a BB got caught up inside the gear box. So I took it to soft air depot (bad idea) and got my gun back a month later YAY!!!!

Art, if you'd like, I can stop over at your place next time I'm in glendale, and we can throw one of my AK hopups in there, and see if that fixes the problem.

.12....WTF!! Like said previously. Never run anything less than .20's. What brand of AK do you have? Unless you have a $80 piece POS. At the minimum you should use .20's.

Actually, it was $60.  I'll be replacing mine, though.

Anyhow, after you guys replace the hop up, could you post here again?  I'm curious to know if that fixes it, too.

Try out Madbull's new hopup bucking designed to prevent double feeding:

I had the same issues with a ICS M4 and installing the bucking solved the problem.

Just to add to the topic, I had the same problem.  I got a gun where the original nozzel was replaced with a so called upgraded one.  I had double feeding issues and general feed issues that replicated symptoms of jamming for the first 10-15 rounds per mag.  In short the problem was the air nozzel, I replaced it with an original nozzel and the gun feeds flawlessly now.
