Help with ProWin Hop Up!!

I just got a ProWin M4 hop up and a Prommy Soft Bucking for my Polar Star and when I installed everything, the magazines would not feed properly. It would shoot a couple of BBs, and then stop, and I would have to take out the mag and put it back into the gun and this same process would repeat itself. I use E-Mags and Elite Force Midcaps. When I had my stock plastic VFC hop up, I had no problems whatsoever with feeding.

I haven't lubed and cleaned my mags in a while, would that be one of the reasons why its not feeding properly? Or would the issue be the hop up itself?

Some help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

well, its probly not the hop up itself, but if you installed something incorrectly it would give you problems. make sure everything is lined up correctly. did the bucking get mangled durring install?
is it jamming or just not feeding? is your nozzel moving back and forth freely while the gun is together?
is the nozzel moving back far enough?

I got a private tech to do it for me, so everything should be lined up correctly.

? A lot of people that have Polar Stars have the same setup as me, without any problems.

My pro win works amazing with my gun. Feeds almost any mag out there. Not trying to insult any intelligence but just saying remember if you change some of your setting it may not always work right. Check your nozzle held back time( I thing its Dr or whatever have not tuned mine in awhile) when I turned my psi down I had to Change all my setting to work right.

I was running everything the same as my old setup, 120 PSI and all the FCU settings were the same.

He has plenty of experience with all guns, and he specializes in AEGs. But I'll have him double check everything next time I see him.

who is the tech that did the work for you? how long has he been working on guns? how many guns has he done?
i am amazed sometimes at the lack of knowlage that some so callled "techs" have.
if you have a private "tech" that did your install then send the gun back to him till it works right.

Prowin + vfc body requires mods to a little plastic cradle that holds the hop in place in order to align and function correctly. If he didn't mod it and simply removed it, thats probably your alignment issue.
