just so every one knows! Surrender is a courtesy! if you try to surrender i grip of people in a bunker with only a pistol GOOD LUCK... try it in real life combat and watch what happens. Ive surrendered people many times only to be shot by them because they had a faster trigger finger. You don't see me complaining. please let it go.
people just need to learn to comply with it..or we should be allowed to use frags.. cuz we wouldn't have this problem if i could have just thrown a frag in there. just my opinion. getting shot in the face with a 450 fps sniper because people didn't surrender is BS
i agree completely. Snipers have a different set of rules that must be followed for the sake of safety. I know the individual your talking about and i had a talk with him during the game about the responsibilities of using a sniper rifle in airsoft after i heard him talking about what happened. I made sure he knew the engagement rules as well as why they are in place.
There were also reports of people attempting to surrender an entire bunker full of people using only a pistol. Surrender is a good thing as far as saving people the pain of getting shot at close range. It should be noted that surrender should only be used on a person your aimed at only. Willing walking up on an entire group of enemies and expecting to surrendering all of them just goes to show your intelligence level. if you wouldn't do it in live fire combat you shouldn't do it in airsoft, after all this is a Mil-Sim, not call of duty.
As far as frags are concerned. they are allowed as long as they explode and send BBs or powder out. Using rubber dummy grenades was not allowed because it can become confusing for people specially considering the amount of first timers we had out at the field. A few people, namely D.Rich_1 had working fragmentation grenades as well as claymores that were permitted on the field.
