Judging by the picture, would you guys recommend putting a longer handguard on my M4? I think a longer handguard would look sufficiently better, and also help accommodate a larger battery. I am also working on a way of keeping the handguard together better, as the cap isn't doing much of a job (pretty much just sitting there lol). I don't foresee this being an issue, but the vets here must have a better opinion than me.
Any ideas guys?

...where's your gas block?

I took that off with the front sight... had a brain fart as to what was going on. I'm going to get a new low-pro one here next week. My current one is in my mixed parts bag lol.

That alone will make the gun look less... awkward. a slightly longer handguard wouldn't hurt though.

Thanks for the input. Would you think either one of the following would be a decent addition? Or, have you seen either of these in person on an M4?

I'm thinking of maybe doing one of these. Thoughts?
Also, a little off topic... would anyone know what kind of charging handle would work for mine? Mine sort of works, but is semi broken. Looking to replace it with a metal one. Anyone know what the measurements are on the CA M15A4 charging handle?

I have the Magpul PTS MOE handguard on mine and I love it. I didn't want to go the route of having a RAS system with PEQ box, so the handguard fills that role nicely.

I've seen them both.
They're both very pretty and very functional.
and downright sexy together. You have to get the rail attachments for the MOE grip though. Worth every penny. lol.
I have a smooth tubular forend for my SR16... with rail attachments. It's not a big deal, you just don't get 7 acres of rail space... that nobody ever knows what to do with anyways.

If you want to stick with plastic handguards, you could use some mid length and just move your gas block forward to fit.
A better choice in my opinion would be to install an Aluminum non-railed free float tube and run your LiPo pack inside it. Keep it from sliding out the front with a set screw gas block. This would give you much more grasping surface, and you could add picatinny rail segments as needed for your BUIS, VFG, or light.
