(continued)
The game will be that much better when you finally are old enough, and you will enjoy it so much more, and at higher levels.  Spend the next few years studying up on your military history, and on topics such as military equipment, and Airsoft gear.  By the time you play, you will be a MILSIM genius!  It all takes time, lads.  It all takes time.
Best regards,
CAG

Ps here are a few places to get started:
www.specialoperations.com  (self explanatory)
www.lightfighter.net     (tactical gear forums)

ENJOY!

Basher and Yankee,
You are the kind of young people that we need in this sport.  I know how hard it can be to just take someones word for granted, and not necessarily follow it because you beilieve it, but because you have no other choice.  It's part of being young.  Your ability to understand the restrictions, and abide by them becuase you feel it is whats right for us all in the long run shows maturity.  It also helps us older guys get the point across to those younger individuals who desire to partake in this activity.

maybe meeting a few guys like, Legs, Harley, and me to name a few would do you young guys some good!  I understand it really sounds like fun, but what we are trying to recreate here when we play airsoft is Military action.  If you are only 14, I also think you should wait.  I always see kids buying Soft Air guns (crossman springers, and mini electrics) at Sports Authority, and other sporting goods stores when I go there.  It takes everything I have inside to stop myself from walking over and questioning them.  "Do you have proper eye protection?  Where will you play?  You aren't going to paint the tip are you?  You know it's illegal for you to have these if youre under 18?"  I want to ask them these, and other questions.  And safety is a huge issue for me also with these younger players.  They have no idea what Airsoft is about beyond backyard "wars" with 5 of their pals.  They think its about shooting each other in the yard.  It is so much more than that.  Just the other day, I was in Wal-Mart, ans saw this girl and her mom buying a buch of workshop goggles (the clear plastic type for saw-dust and such).  The cashier questioned them as to what all these would be used for and the girl said, to my horror, "my little brothers friends are coming over to play airsoft and they need goggles"!!  I almost died!  I knew damn well that those goggles are not adequate safety devices for airsoft, but I did not say anything.  I should have.  Read what Harley posted above.  You can learn alot from these guys here, take their advice!  Your enthusiasm is healthy, it keeps you off drugs.  I have a hard time though, giving you my blessing.  My common sense tells me that boys will be boys, and no matter how mature you are for your age, you are still 14.  I was 14 once, I bet even Legs was too.  The temptation to push your boundaries coupled with a new, fully-aoutmatic bb gun will lead to nothing but trouble.  I understand it all sounds like a great time, but your not ready for it at 14.  Give yourslef at least a few more years, and if your parents ok it, bring them to the games with you.  Why do you think there are age liomits in this, and other airsoft groups?  FOR YOUR SAFETY!  We all go to games to have fun, not worry about kids.  Don't get me wrong, I do not mean you any disrespect whatsoever!  I simply  wish to preserve this sport for us who have earned the right to play it.  You will understand when you are 21 at an AA game, and a 14 wants to join.  You might say the same thing to him.  Best wishes,
CAG
Ps  Now that you have finished reading this post, you have probably aged about 2 years, lol

Wells lamont MECHPRO gloves are the best I have used so far.  $10 at WalMart.  Made in USA and durable as all hell!  Provides tactile sensation, snug fit, light padding on knucle-side for those hand shots.  I have used Army Issue all laether, and nomex/leather flight gloves, and these are by far the best!  They are nice and cool also, and look great!  No pics, but you might be able to find them online.  Very good grip in the palms also.

I have seen that before a few times, but I forgot how utterly brilliant the translations are!  Wasn't it a parody translation from some Japanese Airsoft mag, like "GO! GO! O!"?

94% not sure what I missed.  I said that the M4 is NOT the most customizable weapon (knowing full well that IMHO, IT IS!), hoping that was the right answer.  lets see what I get when I take it for real...
