Haha yeah I know we wouldnt "train" per say, but working w/ guys who are willing to work together is always a good experience.  I will have to be able to work with all kinds of people and do so effectively as an officer so any chance I get to do that I count as "training".

Even if no "team" comes out of this, Id love to get to play with you guys to see what we could pull off in a game w/ some organization.

You're right.

Again, I'm sure there is a team out there that would love to have you!

I think at this point, the best course of action (aside from holding beer and blackhawk down night at Christian's place) is to try and play as a small unit at the next game. At the last one I don't know about the Tan team, but the green team immediately broke inot about 4  sets of 4-5 men each. If this is how it goes, lets make a point of forming a small unit together.

On that note, of those interested, who own green and who owns tan uniforms? Or both? I think I have both but I have green for sure.

I can play both, and I also have a spare set of med/reg DCUs and several sets of med/reg BDUs that someone could use if needed. Rick

That sounds like a good idea to me.  We'll just have to get a roster together and then let the organizer know we want to be on the same team.  I have both sets of BDU's also.

So far we have 7:

Shado
Lightning Man
Firehead
RickEJ6
NormanWoo
drgonbonez
azsarge

If you are on the list and don't want to be, drop me a PM.  Likewise, if you are NOT, and want to be drop me a PM.

I agree about playing together at the next game.  Unfortunately, the next AA game (dragon something) falls on my drill weekend so I won't make it.

What about a name?  Nothing like "Tactical Airsoft Heroes" or "DetairsoftGru", I want it to be original.  Force Package Dingo works for me, although I'm not sure where it came from.

Everyone should try come up with one name and then we will vote on them.  I agree, I want it to be original, but not over done (if you know what I mean).

The name FP Dingo came from when I was in Bosnia. People (truch drivers) were in the habbit of reporting soldiers that they saw out in the country without their helmets, and the main way they were able to do this was by noting the markings on your hummer so we manufactured a new identity, complete with a logo and repainted our hummers.

I like FP Lightning as well.

The name is definitely NOT going to be based upon an existing military acronym.  That's cheesy.  CAG, ACOG, lamo.  We can't do "AAA", because I'm a USAA customer. :P

It needs to NOT sound 1337, so urban assault is out, and Lightning is pretty cool, so we can't use that.

How about the team with no name?

"Team XXXXX"

I did not realize ACOG was a military acronym Sarge, unless you mean The trijicon optics. Well good luck with the team. IMO having groups that play together is a better idea than a "team" persay, because most people play with the same people most of the time.
