Airsoft Items FOR SALE / FS: Tokyo Marui G36KE
« on: June 11, 2007, 12:54:28 PM »
I have a TM G36KE for sale here in Tucson.  I originally purchased it while I was stationed in Italy as a G36C but had it modified by an airsoft shop there.  It has the extra long handguard with barrel (approximately twice as long as stock) with built in bi-pod and it has an upgraded spring; everything else internally speaking is stock.  It also has the following:

Laylax 5000rd box magazine (non-electric)
1 or 2 470rd magazines
2 to 3 3000mah batteries w/charger and TM battery discharger
Stock handguard and large handguard (designed for bigger battery)
Scott facemask and goggles
Some sort of tac vest I've never used

Here are some pictures of the stuff I have.  Note; it does NOT have the silencer on it anymore and I am not getting rid of the other guns in the pics.  Just the G36KE

The reason I'm getting rid of all this stuff is that I haven't played in a long time and just don't have any free time anymore.  I'm in the AF (EOD guy) and just got back from Iraq in January and with a baby on the way, I don't even have enough time to work on my cars, so my airsoft stuff must go.  Ask price for everything listed is $350.  Best way to get a hold of me is to either email me at mariokovach@yahoo.com or to call me at 520 891-7684.  I'm a no nonsense kind of person so please don't try to lowball me with offers and I will not part any of this stuff out.  I am willing to meet up with people from Phoenix half way (around the Casa Grande).

Anyway, just let me know. :)

Troubleshooting / Problems with my G26
« on: June 05, 2005, 04:50:17 PM »
So here is the problem.

I gas up my gun, click it to the up position (semi) and try to fire and the slide goes back and then forward a bit but no pellet comes out and then all the gas goes out of the ejection port and the front end of the barrel.  I've tried this with and without pellets and it does it both times but moreso with the pellets.  Could I possibly need a new clip?

General Airsoft Discussion / Finally here: new to the area
« on: June 03, 2005, 01:00:29 PM »
Not sure if any of you remember but I started posting a few months ago saying I was coming to Tucson.  Well, I'm here.

My wife now live in Tucson (the Rita Ranch area) and are finally settled in.  I would have posted sooner but man, moving to the States after you've been overseas for the last 3 years is a BITCH!  Lots of stuff to move, getting accustomed to the new life, two new puppies, you name it.  But, now we're here and we're looking to maybe start up again.  One problem; we only have 220v battery chargers and we need 110v, obviously.

Is there a local store here in Tucson that sells chargers and airsoft stuff in general?  In Italy, they didn't have orange tip laws so my guns don't have them.  Heh, I'd like to remedy this ASAP. ;)

Also, does anybody in the Tucson area get together regularly?  I know I know, it's your typical newbie question, but I don't have the time to search or to sift through the shitton of information on this site.  I'm working full time in the military, training people to go to war so I'm always busy.  Any help would be much appreciated!  Thanks!

General Airsoft Discussion / USAF EOD vs. Italy: Last weekend
« on: March 25, 2005, 04:51:57 AM »
So my shop here at Aviano AB, Italy has gotten into Airsoft.  About 16 of us have purchased various TM/OA AEGs and sidearms.  We've played a few times amongst ourselves but last weekend was the first time that we played against an actual team.  The team we played against has been playing for around 5 years or so, so needless to say, they had their shit much more together than we did.  Oh yeah, this was the DarkHawk team www.darkhawk.it .

The first game I missed because my wife and I were running late but the second game was crazy.  We mixed it up so that a few Italians were on with us and vice versa.  It was crazy.  We played an attack and defend scenario with a flag that the offending team had to get.  The third game was pure bloodbath; EOD versus them.  We got our asses kicked, but was hella fun.  We defended the flag and pretty much got slaughtered.  I took position on the roof of an old building and laid supporting fire with my G36K (I think it's a K now, with the longer barrel and handguard).  I ended up taking one guy out but two guys flanked me and nailed me.

I could go on and on, but I'll keep it relatively short.  It was a good time and we learned a lot.  We're going to play them on 3 April, 3 days before I leave to come to Arizona.  We're going to play them on their turf so we'll probably get slaughtered even worse.  Hell yeah!

Here are two of my teammates:

My man, Josh.

Here are two pictures of both teams: (I'm the guy all the way on the left in the first pic, kneeling down)

That's me.
