Not without modification Rick.  I just did one for azsarge.  The outer barrels are of different dimentions between the TM and CA guns.  The the TM handguards will fit the CA, but the RIS is not a straight drop in deal.  The anchor plates don't fit the outer barrel on the CA.

I ended up having to buy a rail sleeve to keep the thing rigid.

The handguards will fit the SR16, but like John said, the RIS won't just drop in the CA.

You'd be better off selling the SR as is, and buying a CA with a RIS.

Question about TM RIS system
« Reply #3 on: March 30, 2004, 07:41:21 AM »
I have an SR-16 now, that I got for a good deal to play in OP Sandstorm this weekend, but after that I would like to sell it and pick up a CA gun.  Will the RIS off of a TM M4 go onto a CA gun? If so, would regular TM handgaurds for a M4 pop right on in place of the RIS on the SR-16? Thanks! Rick
