Epoxy compound is better though... i would also say more professional. I fabricated a part of my car using Epoxy, and it is strong as hell! I HAD to make the part by hand because no parts stores carry it... nor the dealership. So, i cleaned up the part, got it down to bare metal, and strategically molded a brand new part that works great, and will hold for a long ass time. Try it out, i'd use the black epoxy for gun use.... pretty cool stuff...
Just mix the same amount of resin and hardener, and with a popsicle stick (or anything similar), gloop that shit where you want it, form it into where you want it, and wipe of the rest. Lets it sit in the sun, or give it plenty of time to dry off...
if you use it like crazy glue, then one application should be good enough... for those who has worked with epoxy, im sure you know how kick ass it is...
