I'm looking to get a reenactment quality Stahlhelm replica... I've checked ebay and google, and all I can find is people selling the ones used in the war for between $400-$3200 lol. Anyone know of a good place to pick a replica up?
-
I've seen them at the Brass Armadillo. Its a big antique store in N. Phoenix, look it up.
-
the brass armadillo is on 28drive and cactus. if you go 100' north of cactus on 28dr its on the east side of the road. they got all kinds of cool stuff in there.

I work just south of there, and it is where I got my LWH (new issue Light Weight Helmet) for PASGT prices lol =)
Oddly enough, I found a place that sells a lot of WW2 era replica stuff online a few hours after making this topic... Not bad prices either. Still might drop by the brass Armadillo though lol

I'm pretty sure you can get those on airsoft-club.com

All they had left on Airsoft-club was the Paratrooper helmets, but I'm looking for either the M35 or 40.

Thanks for this! I've also been looking for great coats, but the only ones I could find were about $400, so this is great news lol! I'm just starting to wonder if someone might find a way to take offense to a gear setup like that lol.

I'd hope most of us were mature enough to understand that it's a reenactment of history, unlike a good segment of the population.

The main reason I ask is that I am also thinking of incorporating the Stahlhelm into my normal gear (when I'm not going for a particular gear spec.) because it is such a fascinating design that influenced helmet design all the way up to the newest issue kevlar helmets. But I guess it is one of those things that is hard to gauge... If not, I'll have an awesome piece to add to my collection of period specific loadouts lol.
