Crosman C11
« on: December 27, 2008, 02:24:59 AM »
Well it's a C11? I got if from walmart. I got board so I was looking at there gun's and the FPS.I noticed that this one was the only gas gun and it had 400 FPS so I got it.

Well it's plastic which didn't surprise me at all but I was looking at it in the car and I noticed that it was on fire? which I wasn't happy about but I'm a safety freak!
The mag will hold up to 15 BB's over all I like it but there are some problems.
The gas goes in the grip/handle but you have to pull the grip sideways to get it in and its vary flimsy.
That's about it so far I hear that it is strong but well see.

I love how it shoot's, it's so fun. But Ive only shot it in my garage because I got it today so it scares the shit out of me when the BB's fly past me lol. Its about 400FPS maybe higher from my chrono test. But I'll have to do that again tomorrow too it shoot's as fast as you can pull the trigger so that's always good I guess. Its almost dead accurate I got like less than a centimeter from what I was aiming for!

So I'd give it a 7/10 it is probably going to be the best walmart gun you will ever buy I almost shit myself when I saw this
I love it lol.
well that's my review
I dicided to post some pics but I'm using a phone camera so sorry if there crappy

the mag

the flimsy CO2 department

WD40 will kill the internals on gas pistols, because it will degrade the rubber seals. For future reference, only use 100% silicone to clean and lubricate airsoft guns, and be sure to avoid anything with petroleum in it.

That goes for ANY airsoft gun, AEG, GBB, Springers, etc.  Pretty much for all rubber and plastic components. Petroleum Distillates are BAD for those materials.

Besides, stay away from the Crossman "airsoft" guns. They're poor quality.  If it's available at the same store,go for the SoftAir (rebranded KWC) Taurus 24/7 CO2 Pistol.

I've put about 20,000 rounds through mine in the past 6 months and it continues to work flawlessly. I bought it for $50 from Academy Sporting Goods in Austin.

Available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Firepower%C2%AE-T ... B000YIH90C

Spare Mags: http://www.pyramidairsoft.com/ProductDe ... uctID=1438

Each  CO2 cartridge will yield about 250 shots, that's 15 to 17 magazine fills. Ads quote 380fps, but that's probably with cheap .12s. With good quality .20s it consistently shoots 290fps.  Just right for CQB and plinking in the backyard.

Might want to change that thinking about 300fps.

320fps inside of 20 foot engagement range:

Primary:Custom M4

A \'touchy-feelie\' CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine sniper,asked,
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."  The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

And you wonder why I ask everyone about their overwhelming desire to have 400+fps AEG. My Marui MP5 shoots 270fps w/.20, just perfect for CQB and no field or group I've skirmished with has ever had a grievance about it. My Cyma MP5 shoots 340-350fps w/.20 and I can reach a decent range in the woods. My pistol shoots anywhere from 240-290fps w/.20 depending on gas and temp.

To Skel- if you need any assistance in the area of gas gun maintainace, I am a gas pistol freak. I love them. I can help you with whatever you need. And, if you are looking for a gas pistol, a KWA sounds like it would suit your needs, I can't say definately, but to the extent of my knowledge, they are all over 300fps, and function flawlessly. A little pricey, but you will always get your moneys worth.
