Boot trouble
« on: August 24, 2008, 01:43:02 PM »
i have Condor Belleville replica desert boots, and on the right boot on the top theres a tear on the left side of it, it looks like the threading tore, and its dangling off the side, with only a few threads left connecting it to the speed lace column .

how am i going to fix this?

Becuase the threads of the poly-dura stuff they use in condor gear is crap the problem will just continue to get worse. You chose poorly, burn the area with a lighter and deal with it. Next time, choose more wisely.

Might I suggest getting some Danners next time, depending on the amount of wear, you should be able to send them back and get them recrafted. They'll even pay to ship your boots back to you once they're done.

just get some desert tan jungle boots, they're cheap and should last an airsoft life-time. at worst you'll have to resole the bottoms in a few years.

$79  Thats a killer deal for a good quality pair of boots.  Most Military boots cost around the 130-200+ mark.  I'm happy I got my BATES for as cheap as I did ($49 thank you to the idiot at the Bates factory who stamped the EGA backwards, you Rock!)  but I spent 180$ on my black ones.  Your feet are as important as your eyes in this hobby.  Take care of your feet now and they will not give you problems later in life.

I've seen them at Laradas for 30-40 bucks, you can try Papago park as well...... I normally buy boots (very rarely, I normally just turn them in and get new ones free, great being a soldier) at Papago park, sometimes at a Luke AFB.

We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.
