Howdy Folks!
« on: March 28, 2006, 07:11:48 AM »
Well...This is the first time I've ever joined a Forum. I got into Airsoft about two years ago when my 7 year old Son (Jacob) decided he had to have his first BB gun! We took a Saturday afternoon off, after doing chores, and went to several local stores to find what I thought was going to be his first Red Ryder, Daisy or Crossman BB gun. After seeing all the typical air guns that we've all known and loved since the 1970's Jacob and I stumbled into the local Army Surplus store where we quickly found the gun counter. We took a long silent look at the guns on the wall, then turned to face eachother, then turned back to look at the guns on the wall again! I noticed that Jacobs face was in a state of shock and his mouth was dropped to the floor. After reeling my tongue back up into my drooling mouth and gathering my senses I said,"Wholly crap!" These airsoft guns were not his Daddy's BB guns!
Quickly dropping a nice size check, we drove home, broke open the boxes and began attaching flashlights, lasers, rail systems etc. Needless to say Jacob and I had more fun that day, than we'd had together in a long time. That night we geared up and ran around blasting the crap out of eachother, laughing until we cried!
I've since opened our family Airsoft Store and we supply Airsoft AEGs, GBB's and related Tactical Gear, Accessories and Supplies Worldwide!
My name is Doug and we are located in Spokane Washington but we'll be moving down to Arizona this summer for good. I just thought I'd introduce myself and let you know about our online store. We should be situated in Tucson by August of 2006. Anyone who wants to come help us move in is welcome. I plan to open a retail outlet in Tucson sometime next Winter and we hope to be invited to join your games. Well that's about all for now. We'd love to hear from any and all of you and we hope to see you when we get down to Arizona. If you want to check out the online store send me a note and I'll get you the website address. I'll try to figure out where I'm supposed to put that info on the Forum site as soon as possible. If any of the moderators or AA staff would like to help me negotiate this Forum that would be great! I'm new to this computer stuff! Thanks guys and gals and I hope you'll all be my new family! Sincerely and Respectfully, Douglas Stoebner dba: Origin Alley/Airsoft Alley

Welcome, Doug - I'm sure your family will love Tucson (at least until your first summer...).

There is a thriving Airsoft community in Tucson and Phoenix, and we welcome all in the sport.

Anything we can do to help - just ask....
