I know they are great quality...  unfortunately, we need to use the Excel "Biodegradeable" BB's to be "environment friendly" as well as for plausable deniability.

I still have so called "Biodegradeable" BB's in my grass from over a year ago.  I don't wonder if they mean they're biodegradeable by crushing them?  They certainly don't desolve.

That's true Harley - me too (lol) - but even if they are 5% more "biodegradeable" than other BB's, it's still a step up.  I'd suggest to everyone that using those new Excel "100% Biodegradeable" BB's is better, but you get half the BB's for the same price while only being able to get them in .20g sizes.

I still have nearly two bags of them left over from CD.  I certainly didn't shoot much there...

I have a small group of BBs that I leave outside and water every day and they are still as round as the day I pulled them out of the bag...This was over two years ago.  I added those "100% biodegradeable" BBs to them after Crimson Dunes and those are also still very much intact.  I think the biodegradeability may have more degradeability when animals eats them however.  I came to this realization after I found my dog eating some...

I agree with you guys about the "biodegradeability" of the excel bb's.  My friend accidentely poured half a bag in the desert and they still look fine, and that was almost 1 year ago...

From what I've read, the semi-bios take 4 years and the 100% bios take 1 year...  I guess we'll know by next august about the 100%'s....

I think the reason they are called biodegradeable is due to the fact of what they are made of. They arent made of the same plastic as normal BBs. They might be called biodegradeable due to the fact if an animal eats them they dont have the oils that can harm them like you would find in normal plastics. So they just pass through the animal without any possible harm.

Airsoft Elite BB Review
« Reply #13 on: February 05, 2003, 09:24:15 PM »
I know everyone will always trust TM, KSC or Excel bbs.  And, I am sure everyone hear about Airsoft Elite bbs too.  Now, here is another review on the AE bbs: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/beta/htm ... review.htm.  Now, Airsoft Elite is presenting a reward program for their bb users.  http://www.airsoftelite.com/bb%20reward%20prg.htm.
