Matrix 8mm gearbox or G&P 8mm gearbox?
« on: October 16, 2011, 07:51:09 PM »
does anyone have any experience with this gearbox?
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_68_518&products_id=30250
If so would you suggest it? Or what would you suggest for around the same price?
I only ask cause I need a gearbox for my M4 and I'm stuck between this and the G&P 8mm one
Thanks

well the Qc would be sweet in an mp5 or g3.. but how would you change it on a m4 without taking the gearbox out lol.

The matrix gear box's are solid man. i had* one in a m4 for a long time and never had a problem person that bought that gun still hasnt had a problem to this day..

^mine is a ver.2 (m4 ect.) and i guess its for people who don't quite want to open up a gear box yet. it saves about honestly 10 mins in take down reasembly. getting the anti reversal latch to go into place can be a pain.

thats very true. or if you had an real steel buffer reciver on there it would be nice.

I normally just put a lil drop (a seriously little drop) of super glue and stick it in place then when its fully assembled i just stick a screw driver in the motor hole and move the Ar latch so its not glued in place anymore wha-la

I think I'll probably go with the G&P gearbox since thats what I have experience with and it's a little cheaper. Thanks for the help everyone!
