be more specific because when i read it i thought you were talking about gas guns lol, but phneumatic blowback uses air to move a metal slide as the bolt, and mechanical(electric) blowback is attatched to the piston so it puts more stress on the gearbox but no drop in fps as phneumatic blowback causes

normal electric is quieter, (not by much)
i guess thats about it. Lol not to many storys of the ebb systems causing problems
more of a cosmetic thing than anything.

I had a G4 gun with the EBBR feature, being a GandG designed system they use for their AEGs/EBBRs. There isnt really a drop in performance, fps stays the same, drains the battery a bit more, but you get the slight realism of a open and closing bolt. Big woop right?

if its not gbb there is no point in bb.  i have no need for the pretty lil piece of metal going back and forth that i cant even see when im busy shooting at someone.
neither realy adds any function to the gun shooting. but it does add one more thing to go wrong and something more to fix when it does break. and im not sure if they even sell parts to fix either type of ebb. they could but i dont think its important enough for me to find out.
never underestimate the things you dont know.
