Is it viable?  Look that up.

You could use it.  They are pretty nice, but you will want to buy a ****load of extra shells, and a thumbloader.  You could do well in a game with it.  By the time you buy the gun and extra rounds, you could get an aeg, and maybe barrow an extra mag for the first game.  You can get an aeg for less than 300 with a battery.

Well I have really been looking at this gun and it seems very viable to be. I see that it is spring, but it still shoots at 300 fps which is very good I think. The only proble however is the price. Do you all think that 210 for a spring is good even though it shoots 300. I really don't like gas and batteries make me angry. I thought that this would be viable solution. I would still have my AEG though for serious games. How hard is the TM SPas 12 to cock? I would like to know if I sould just get an mp5 for a lil more for my close quarters- backup gun. I think It would be cool to have one of those on your back though! So what are your thought?
