Their kung fu is the best kung fu.

One downside is sometimes they don't get your original request, so you have to resend it after a week of waiting.  Every other experience has been order on Monday, get quote and pay on Tuesday, get a confirmation on Wednesday or Thursday, and have the stuff Friday or Monday.

The only other drawback I have had is sometimes their stock is not inline with what they have on their website.  You find this out in the quote though.

I have NEVER had a bad experience with them and NEVER had to pay a customs fee weeks later like with WGC.

I get these a lot.  There is another flavor that looks like a paypal transaction receipt.  It is the same idea in that they provide a link to dispute the charge and ask for your info.

In practice, it is best to just delete these emails and access your account separately to check any activity.

I used to forward them to the paypal fraud dept. and got responses from every forwarding.  After a while though, they stopped sending responses...I guess they didn't realize how many spoofs were going on :P

I think I have a soap box here, so let me see...

I think there needs to be MUCH stiffer penalties for fraud/identity theft/etc.  At a minimum 1 day for each dollar swindled.  They are thieves.  Theives are weak cowards.  Let them see how weak cowards fair in prison.

Good luck.

I guess they should really be called Low-recoil rifles, like low-fat vs. non-fat yogurt.

Is this a training video of some kind?

I have numerous armies, but only 1 that is finished  ;)

My finished army is a 100-marine Dark Angels foot army.  The sergeants have informed me that they are sick and tired of walking everywhere, so I am mechanizing them with 7 razorbacks, 2 predators and a whirlwind

By "won't fire" do you mean BBs don't come out or it won't turn over?  Just trying to understand the problem.

BBs not coming out in semi-auto might mean a timing problem.  What is the fps for a short burst of auto fire?  If it is much lower than expected, then that might indicate a timing problem as the tappet would be out of the firing position causing an air leak.  Yes, there is timing in a V3 gearbox  ;)

If it is not turning over in semi-auto, I have no idea what's wrong there.

Hope this helps more than hurts

Every AA game that I have been to where there has been grenade rules, there has been at least some murmur about people throwing things at other people.  I'd think a heavier grenade would lead to louder murmurs.

Further, it is possible that you can easily lose a $10 grenade with a 3' orange streamer on it.  Imagine how easy it will be to lose one of these!

I think it would be better to adapt a sonic technology into the current rubber grenades.  The major problem with current grenade rules is that most people don't realize how close they are to the grenade as they cannot see it.  A loud alarm would make it easier for the targets to find out where it is and call the "hit".  That is the reason why there are supposed to be only howlers at Lion Claws (though I'd say at LCIV, 75% were nonhowler), so you know where it lands (and have the opportunity to dive for cover!).

I have owned a Marui M3 shorty for quite a while.  While it gets sneered at as a springer, it shoots just as fast as a stock AEG.  Nothing to brag about, but usable.  I have probably gotten as many kills with it as with my tuned-up AEGs.  I use it as a quick backup to my AEG.  If my AEG goes down, I head back to the car, grab my shotgun rounds and the shotgun.  Super reliable.

It is kind of like a fat girlfriend, everyone gives you a hard time when they see you with it, but you always know the action is there when you need it.

As far as AEGs go, the AUG is one of the best IMO.

I believe you stated that you had a real steel AUG.  Since you are familiar with its styling, you know what to expect in that area.

There are two drawbacks to watch out for:
1. Limited accessories
There are not many accesories for AUGs, and those that exist are very expensive.  If you get a Civi model, you have a rail to mount fun stuff for sights, which is all you really need IMO.

2. Limited Battery Size
I find this to be the only real drawback to the AUG.  You can fit a 1500mah mini battery with little work.  That one and a mini just-in-case battery should run you fine for a full day, assuming you are not a lead-finger.

Myth:  The front handle breaks off.
You have to obscenely abuse your AUG to get this to happen.  Others will claim it happened to them, but I was never able to figure out how to do it to mine for almost a year and ended up selling it before I could figure out how to break it  ;)

For a first gun, I would not suggest anything else, save maybe an AK, though I am still up in the air about that.

I have 2 more observations.

1.  It is silent, only so long as the munitions stay subsonic

2.  I am curious as to the range/accuracy characteristics of the munitions.  There are aerodynamic reasons that cannons and smallarms shifted from the cannonball and musketball to the shell and bullet shape that we use today.  Maybe if they put in some sort of hop-up mechanism...:P  Further, I am curious as to the "ball-istic" characteristics of a cluster of balls 1/3 of an inch apart.

There may not be recoil, but if I understand its operation, there would be significant gyroscopic inertia.  Sweeping left and right would not be an issue, but traversing up and down might be difficult without some sort of assistance like an electric motor.  This wouldn't be so bad as the weapon is electric, so you know you'd have an electric source to power a traversal system.  Flying with a big gyroscope attached to the nose of your aircraft may not be fun either  :P

Still waiting for the movie to download...

If you are using a NiCd, have you been conditioning your battery, comrade?  You should discharge it completely with a discharger, slow charge it to full, then repeat a couple more times.  This repeated use breaks down the crystalization of the internal chemicals, the reason behind the memory effect.

Yes there are parts available, though you may have to look for it in online stores under 'P90' since they use the same gearbox.

It is upgradable to the FPS you want without issue.

As far as what JT carries, I don't know.

Each AEG is designed around a particular gearbox version, they are not interchangeable between versions.

In principle, gearboxes are the same, some just tighter than others due to their layout.

I had good luck with www.entrygear.com

I got an 100oz ambush because of the pouch on the back.  I find it nice to have an extra space for things that I need not too often such as food and a bulk bag of BBs.  If I were to do it again, I'd get a 100oz mule with the second pouch as well.
