I still love the full auto Tommy.. it was the first gun i ever shot.. one of the DMG boys let me shoot his full auto down at a Casa Grande shoot a whiel back... that and his MP5.. my first two guns... heheh. Now im spoiled and nothing is quite the same.  

That sure is a beauty though Harley!

I have to say this about anyone who's had to carry one of these all day in the field, "They were real men!"  This thing weighs 13lbs unloaded.  Even if you subtract the extra 6 inches of barrel, a full auto tompson is a beast of a weapon.

From where I'm sitting, that's a very nice looking Thompson, Harley.

As I recall the recoil in full auto was lighter than one would expect.  That has a lot to do with the weight of that weapon, I suppose.  I mean, it isn't like it has a buffer spring assembly or such, heheh.

The full auto version really is a blast but I'd be more than excited with a semi-auto version, that's for sure.

Then again, maybe it does have a buffer spring assembly of sorts.  Come to think of it, I've never seen one taken apart.
