breech, i had the same gun. it is very nice for long range shooting, like around the southern border, hint hint.  :-X FYI to everyone, that has not shot this weapon, be thankful breech has the padding on the butt stock. this gun come with a metal plate on the stock which can leave some nice hikeys in the shoulder area. Rounds are fairly cheap from i remember like $8-9 for 20 rounds.

I have a few questions.

Is the scope offset to allow the use of stripper clips?

Does that scope actually hold its zero after firing more than 10-15 rounds?

Was the starting rifle a 91/30? And, do the numbers on the bolt and barrel match?

What is the condition of the rifle(prior to adding the aftermarket "upgrades")?

I'm asking because I'm interested, and right now I'd offer you $120 cash.

Is that my old gun? Looks great with the scope on it.

And to the people wondering where to get ammo:
http://www.jgsales.com/7.62x54r-comm-bloc-light-ball-fmj-ammo,-steel-case,-440rd-tins.-p-4431.html

Russian surplus rounds, 440 for 90$.

Good luck selling it!

You were asking for offers, and you never answered my questions. Neither a gunshop or a pawn broker will give you that money because they know better.

Don' get your panties in a bunch.

Does the scope offset to allow the use of stripper clips? No it is not off set, to allow the use of the stripper clips.

Does that scope actually hold its zero after firing more than 10-15 rounds? It holds its zero, its not a POS replica scope.

Was the starting rifle a 91/30? And, do the numbers on the bolt and barrel match? Original Numbers on bolt and barrel. Yes it was a 91/30.

What is the condition of the rifle(prior to adding the aftermarket "upgrades")? Wasn't beat up like the ones you usually find, barrel has been cleaned after each use.

If you'd wanna meet in the middle, $150, that would work, but $120 off the bat, when I don't even know you, and youre a FNG(fucking new guy) course I'm gonna be a lil unmotivated to answer your questions. You think I would be dumb enough to take it to pawnshop or licensed gundealer you must think I am really stupid.

$100-120 for a good quality Moasin, ammo plus the stripper clips, $20, $100 for scope, mount, and bolt handle, Monte Carlo - $50, Cheek rest cartridge holder - $10, $270-280, your offer $120? Maybe for just Rifle haha.
