breech, i had the same gun. it is very nice for long range shooting, like around the southern border, hint hint.  FYI to everyone, that has not shot this weapon, be thankful breech has the padding on the butt stock. this gun come with a metal plate on the stock which can leave some nice hikeys in the shoulder area. Rounds are fairly cheap from i remember like $8-9 for 20 rounds.
