shotgun scabbard question
« on: December 09, 2014, 05:25:21 PM »
So I'm looking to get some gear and I have a question for anyone with this shotgun here: http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/product_info.php?products_id=3132

My question is whether this shotgun will fit in the scabbards that are also on that site despite having no stock. Or if anyone has a better idea for carrying it as a secondary.

It will fit after removing the front sling mount.  However, without a stock, it's going to be hard to get out of the scabbard.

That's what I was afraid of. Any suggestions on something else? It would be carried with a UMP on a one point sling.

Might have to try to work out some sort of custom scabbard setup for it.  Or put a stock on it.

Are you using this as a back up to your UMP? I used an UMP for almost 3 years (and will hopefully be rolling with one again here) and carried a TM 4.3 Hi Cappa (will also be doing this again here when I'm ready) as a back up to that. A shotgun is awesome, I'm planning on getting one, but the fact is that in real world usage using it as a back up to a main is not going to be the right choice. Just my 2 cents....
