Site Suggestions / Auction?

Paco (or the other Moderators):

What about adding an "auction" style selling system to the forum? I don't know if this has ever been addressed before (I did a search and came up w/ nothing), and I am not suggesting replacing our normal classifieds section. But it would be kinda fun to auction off something amongst ourselves before putting it on ebay.

In fact, I have no idea if this is even feasable. But it was a thought! [:D]

I have been trying for a few days to get onto The 6mm Shop's website and there doesn't seem to be a website anymore. Does anyone know if they are still in business and/or if they'd changed web addresses or what?

West Point, Ky., hosted 12,000 visitors for the weekend-long Knob Creek Gun Range Machine Gun Shoot (with a separate competition for flame throwers). The featured attraction was "The Line," where a limit of 60 people (the waiting list is 10 years long) get to fire their machine guns into a field of abandoned cars and boats, and during which a shooter might run through $10,000 worth of ammunition. Among the shoot's champions was Samantha Sawyer, 16, the top women's submachine gunner for the last four years. One man told the Louisville Courier-Journal that he met his wife at a previous shoot, knowing that "if she could accept flame-throwing as a hobby, she could accept anything." Said another: "This is one of those times when you know this (the United States) is the greatest place on Earth." [Courier-Journal, October 19]

I was thinking about my favorite military motion pictures, and saw a "10 Best" in some magazine a few months ago, and thought that all of the ones in there were very old. Not that there is anything wrong with old movies, but I had not seen several of them....anyway, I decided to make my own poll. I welcome your suggestions for future polls!
