Christian will come on here, see your post and say it cant be 'taught' but it must run in the blood! Just use the kind at hobby stores. Tan, Khaki, Brown, OD, Green, Grey, etc. Do what you think looks cool, or at least what a few other people think looks cool! :P

Why are you painting Springers? If its for a competition shouldnt they be using GBBS? Be more realistic! SWAT Teams, last time I checked, dont paint the weapons. Its SF and military units that usually paint there rifles!

They cant be all black (needs to have some red parts), and its cheaper and better looking than buying a dumb molded piece of plastic that does nothing. At least these will click instead of yelling bang bang...

Hmm...Make it look like a police training pistol, with a red slide! You know you gotta pull back the slide inbetween everyshot! If you wanted something for the noise, get EBBS! But dont expect much out of them!

Why I am going with spring is because it is realistic and cheap, I don't want to spend more for sound. When I have to strip it down and demiliterize it... Plus we are looking for rifles (M16, MP5, Shotguns) not pistols.

Thought you were talking about spring pistols. EBBS are the same price you know! Laradas has spring MP5s, but I havnt seen a spring MP5 that wasnt SD. There are M16 springers all over the place, and you can get a ****ty shotty for $10 on eBay!

I am on ebay as we speak.. er.. type. Found M16, MP4 (sd, A6, and one that is close to an MP5k) and shotguns for miles. all at a price that we can afford 20 is way better than 150 for a piece of plastic.

I find it very ironic that minors are involved with airsoft while under the direct supervision of LE!

That's funny, I wasnt' aware that airsoft guns were "militarized" in the first place!  I assume you mean they do not fire.

NOTE: sorry I just had to point out that terminology, I knw what you mean, man :)
