Can Airsoft be considered a sport? I know it is in our opinion, but what legally constitutes a sport? Some think ice-blocking or hackey-sack is a sport. Even the Olympics picks some wierd, silly games as exhibition sports. Where would that be defined by the law? We usually have teams playing against each other in a physical game, sounds like a sport. Just because there are no school-sponsored or public pro Airsoft teams, doen't mean that it can't be considered a sport, right?
I guess what it comes down to, is young, immature kids(not all kids are immature) can't handle the responsibility that comes with airsoft guns, so they get in trouble, or worse, hurt. That is why airsoft may be an endangered game. I bet some parents don't even know what their kids have in their rooms. That's the other part of the problem.
I hope common sense and good parenting can overcome this problem before we lose it all...
